Check Out The Atlanta Oddities Market And Discover Some Unique Items

Atlanta Oddities Market

Are you sick of the mundane? Want to add something a little odd and unusual to your life? You have the chance by attending The Atlanta Oddities Market from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Circus School of Atlanta. Tickets are $10, and you’ll have access to a cash bar as you browse strange oddities from around the world and watch sideshow performances. This is going to be an epic event, so get ready to have the time of your life.

What to Expect

This is going to be an event like no other. It’s brought to you by Obscura Antiques and Oddities, Freeman and Fugate Oddities Co., and the TV show “Oddities.” So, yes, these people know their stuff when it comes to oddities.

The team has recruited 25 vendors for the event. These vendors will display have an assortment of extraordinary and rare items available for sale.

Take the music box made of an enameled egg and chukar skull. It plays, strangely enough, “O Come, All Ye Faithful.” That’s just one of the odd items you can expect to find here. So, yeah, it’s going to be odd…and so much fun.

The Sideshow Performance

Oddities and sideshows go together, so it makes sense that there’ll be a sideshow performance here. Captain & Maybelle will perform at 3 p.m. If you watch “America’s Got Talent,” you’ve heard of this couple before. They do all kinds of crazy things, like spit fire and swallow swords. And don’t think it’s all just an act. Captain recently got seriously injured while performing the sword swallowing trick. You’ll be holding your breath as you watch this couple perform.
